1. Plan the required resources and infrastructure to ensure timely availability
2. Determines the detailed resource requirements for the assigned work as such: manpower, skills, estimated man hours, material, spares and special support devices such as cranes, scaffolding, forklifts etc., and prior to executing the job
3. Plan and organized the assigned work in advance to minimize inefficiencies and wasted technician time during work execution; i.e. , parts, resources, tools, equipment, permits
4. Uses the computer system to maximum advantage by generating schedules, regular reports and analyses.
5. Schedule and allocate resources for the assigned work to optimize utilization and minimize overtime
